Olympiacos Nicosia signs Austrian midfielder Dominik Prokop

Olympiacos Nicosia has officially announced the signing of 29-year-old Austrian midfielder Dominik Prokop. The player has signed a contract for one year with an option for an additional year. Prokop is 1.72 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, though he is capable of covering the flanks. He is a product of the Austria Wien academy, where he made 110 appearances with 15 goals and 9 assists. His professional career includes stints at Wehen Wiesbaden, HNK Gorica, TSV Hartberg, and FK Zeljeznicar. During his time at TSV Hartberg, he recorded 96 appearances with 14 goals and 11 assists. Last season, he played 32 matches across all competitions, scoring 5 goals. Additionally, Prokop has represented Austria at all youth international levels from U16 to U21, totaling 53 appearances, and has recorded 14 appearances and 3 goals in the UEFA Europa League and its qualification stages.
