A 46-year-old woman, who was shot by her 55-year-old police officer husband on June 30, has regained consciousness after being in a medically induced coma. The assailant committed suicide immediately following the attack, which occurred inside a vehicle in Polemidia, Limassol. The victim is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Nicosia General Hospital. While she has begun communicating with family members, her health condition remains serious, and doctors anticipate she will require further surgeries and a lengthy recovery period.
