Two distinct criminal cases are under investigation in Cyprus. In Aradippou, a 33-year-old man was found injured in the street at approximately 00:50 on the morning of his discovery, suffering from wounds caused by a sharp object. A 21-year-old suspect has been arrested by police, and the case is being handled by the Aradippou Police Station. Separately, regarding a June 30 incident in Limassol, a 46-year-old woman has regained consciousness in the intensive care unit of Nicosia General Hospital. She was the victim of an attempted murder by her 55-year-old husband, a police officer who subsequently died by suicide after using his service weapon. The incident occurred near the Ayios Spyridonas High School following a public altercation. Investigators from the Limassol CID are waiting for medical clearance to interview the victim, whose testimony is deemed critical for the case file.
