Attempted murder investigation in Aradippou after stabbing

Police in Larnaca are investigating an attempted murder following a violent incident in Aradippou early Sunday morning. A 33-year-old man was found injured on a road around 12:50 am and was transported to the Larnaca General Hospital before being transferred to Nicosia, where he remains in critical condition. Sources differ regarding the suspect's age, with some reports citing a 22-year-old and others a 21-year-old. The suspect, who shared a home with the victim, was arrested and remanded in custody for eight days by the Larnaca District Court. Investigation findings indicate the two men, who were coworkers, argued after returning home from a night out with a third individual. The suspect reportedly admitted to stabbing the victim multiple times with two kitchen knives in the chest, abdomen, arm, and hand.
