Beach Waterpolo Limassol returns for its 11th edition

The 11th edition of the Beach Waterpolo Limassol tournament is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at the Old Port dock in Limassol, Cyprus. Organized by Ydatinos Kosmos and the Limassol Municipality as part of the 'LEMESIA 2026' event, the tournament promotes sports, social contributions, and marine environmental protection. This year introduces a new Corporate 4x4 category, held on August 1, aimed at non-professional participants from companies and groups of friends. Active water polo athletes are ineligible for this category, though those retired for at least three years may participate with specific restrictions. Other categories include the Open competition and the U14 youth category. The event will support the Telethon charity and feature environmental initiatives, including seabed cleaning and recycling activities on August 2.
