Apollon Limassol to face Dila Gori in Conference League qualifiers

Apollon Limassol will face Georgian club Dila Gori in the second qualifying round of the 2026/27 Conference League. Although Dila Gori lost 1-0 to Virtus from San Marino in their second leg match, they advanced to the next round with a 3-1 aggregate victory from the first leg. The first match of the tie is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, in Georgia, while the return leg will be held at the Alphamega Stadium in Limassol on Tuesday, July 28. Dila Gori is currently coached by Greek manager Akis Vavalis and holds one Georgian league title, two national cups, and one super cup. The club previously faced Anorthosis and APOEL in European competitions. Before the European campaign begins, Apollon recently drew 0-0 in a friendly match against AEK Larnaca. Head coach Hernan Losada has emphasized the need for greater efficiency in the upcoming matches.
