Cypriot football teams prepare for 2026/27 UEFA qualifying rounds

Cypriot football clubs have finalized their schedules for the 2026/27 UEFA competitions following the conclusion of early qualification matches. Omonia Nicosia will open the series on Wednesday, July 22, by hosting Kairat Almaty in the Champions League second qualifying round at GSP Stadium. On Thursday, July 23, Pafos FC faces Hajduk Split, AEK Larnaca meets Beitar Jerusalem, and Apollon Limassol travels to Georgia to face Dila Gori. Apollon Limassol secured their match against Dila Gori after the Georgian club defeated Virtus of San Marino. The return legs for these fixtures are scheduled for July 28 and 29. Furthermore, the seedings for the third qualifying round of the Europa League and Conference League are set to be determined during the draw on Monday, July 20. AEK Larnaca enters the draw as a seeded team, while Apollon Limassol will be unseeded.
