Police chase in Los Angeles ends with suspect arrested in the ocean
On the morning of Thursday, July 16, a police pursuit took place in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department identified a man wanted on a felony warrant at approximately 7:20 a.m. Following a failed attempt to contact the individual, a foot chase ensued. The suspect fled toward the ocean and entered the water to evade law enforcement. He swam out to deep waters, requiring intervention from authorities. Two lifeguards on paddleboards eventually managed to surround and immobilize the suspect. The man was successfully taken into custody two hours after the initial foot chase began.
