Consumer satisfaction with roaming services in the EEA shows improvement in 2025

The Commissioner of Communications and OCPER conducted a survey in December 2025 regarding the quality of 'Roaming Like at Home' services within the European Economic Area. The study, carried out by Pulse Market Research with a sample of 2,014 travelers, reported a 77% satisfaction rate compared to 75% in 2024. Participants accounted for 3,869 trips, averaging 1.9 trips per person. Primary destinations included Greece at 75%, followed by Italy, Austria, France, and Germany. Findings indicated that 83% of respondents experienced no connection issues, a slight increase from 81% the previous year. Connectivity problems affected 16% of travelers, with most cases resolving automatically or via service provider assistance. However, 2% of users reported unresolved issues preventing network access, while 21% noted lower data speeds compared to 24% in 2024.
