Eurobank Cyprus named best bank of 2026 by Euromoney

Euromoney named Eurobank the best bank in Cyprus for 2026 and the best bank for large corporates in its latest Awards for Excellence. The evaluation period for these awards ran from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. A central element of the bank's performance in 2025 was the legal merger of Hellenic Bank and Eurobank Cyprus. This transaction resulted in the formation of Eurobank Limited, which the bank describes as the largest banking and insurance organization in Cyprus with total assets exceeding €28 billion. The institution reported a 17 per cent expansion in its business lending portfolio during the year. Furthermore, the bank stated its customer base reached more than 710,000 retail and 11,500 business customers. Operational updates noted that over 96 per cent of transactions are now processed through digital channels. Most financing applications are currently submitted via the bank's mobile application.
