President Christodoulides states that the case of Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomou remains active

President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides hosted members of the Isaac-Solomou Memorial Initiative at the Presidential Palace following their return from a motorcycle ride through Greece. The participants have been organizing annual memorial events since 2008 in honor of Tassos Isaac and Solomos Solomou, who were killed in August 1996. During the meeting, President Christodoulides explicitly addressed the 1996 deaths, describing them as murders rather than historical incidents. He confirmed that the state is actively pursuing accountability for those responsible for the killings.
