AEK Larnaca marks 32nd anniversary of its founding
AEK Larnaca celebrates its 32nd anniversary on July 18, marking the date in 1994 when the club was officially established. The organization was created through the merger of two historic Larnaca clubs, Pezoporikos and EPA, both of which traced their origins back to 1924. This consolidation followed several previous attempts to unite the local sports community. The merger was executed under the leadership of club presidents Dinos Lefkaritis and Foivos Vovidis. The club maintains the colors yellow and green and features the general Kimon on its emblem. AEK continues to represent the city of Larnaca, upholding the history and identity inherited from its predecessor organizations.
