Large-scale drone attacks hit Moscow and Russian regions

Overnight between Sunday and Monday, Russian officials reported an attack involving over 400 Ukrainian drones targeting the Moscow region. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that air defense systems intercepted most of the drones, including 85 near the capital, while the Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down 381 drones across multiple regions. At least 10 people were injured in the Moscow region, including three Chinese nationals in Domodedovo, where industrial and residential buildings were damaged. Separately, attacks in the Belgorod region resulted in one death and four injuries. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed Ukraine targeted Russian logistical facilities and oil depots. These events follow previous strikes over the weekend, where seven warehouse workers were killed at a Wildberries facility in Kotovsk and others were injured in the Moscow region. Authorities also reported a fire at an oil depot in Noginsk and temporary evacuations at a Wildberries center in Podolsk due to the aerial threats.
