Road construction in Konia, Paphos nears completion

The road project in Konia, Paphos, has entered its final phase of asphalt paving. Acting Mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, announced that the road is expected to open to traffic by Tuesday afternoon, provided there are no unforeseen delays. According to the contract, the original deadline for the completion of the project was set for the end of September. The Paphos Municipality stated that the project is being completed significantly ahead of schedule due to improved coordination and continuous oversight by the municipal council. Supervisory engineers and municipal staff have been working daily on-site in cooperation with the contractor to ensure the quality and safety of the road. The municipal administration emphasized that the primary goal of the accelerated work was to minimize public inconvenience while improving local infrastructure. No further delays are currently anticipated for the final paving operations.
