Withdrawal of cosmetic products from the European market

The Pharmaceutical Services of Cyprus have announced the withdrawal of three cosmetic products from the European market following notifications via the Business Alert Gateway. The affected products include the TVLV Dual-Ended Concealer & Foundation Stick (Barcode: 78080405740), which contains the prohibited substance octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4). The Smilekit Teeth Whitening Pen (Barcode: 15574335106) was withdrawn due to excessive hydrogen peroxide concentrations. Additionally, the Melao Isolation Sunscreen SPF 50+ (Barcode: HE472036sb260116125873859191074) was removed as its actual sun protection factor is lower than the labeled claim. All items originated from China and were found to be non-compliant with European Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.
