Toyota Motor Europe reports first half 2026 sales results

In the first half of 2026, Toyota Motor Europe sold 633,617 vehicles, securing a 7.0% market share. Electrified models, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery electric vehicles (BEVs), reached 549,332 units, accounting for 87% of the company's total European sales. This represents a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2025 and a record for the company. Pure BEV sales grew by 113%, now making up 11% of total sales, with notable demand for the bZ4X, C-HR+, Urban Cruiser, and bZ4X Touring models. The Toyota Professional division sold 76,788 commercial vehicles, achieving a 6.1% market share. Sales of electric Proace and Proace City models rose by 37% and 47% respectively. The product range was further expanded with the introduction of the Proace Max BEV and Hilux BEV.
