Connor Goldson provides update following successful 13-hour surgery
Apollon Limassol defender Connor Goldson has provided a health update one week after undergoing a major surgical procedure. Goldson confirmed the surgery was successful but noted it lasted 13 hours and resulted in more significant bruising and trauma than a previous procedure he underwent in 2017. Following the operation, the athlete spent one night in intensive care and another in a high-dependency unit before being moved to a general ward. He began physical rehabilitation by walking in the hospital corridor shortly after his stay in intensive care. Five days post-surgery, Goldson was discharged to continue his recovery at home. He expressed gratitude for the support he received and praised his wife for her assistance throughout his recovery. His physical independence is gradually improving as he continues to heal.
