Recent violent incidents in Gaza and the West Bank

On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City resulted in the deaths of six family members, including Firas Al-Masri, his wife Salsabel, and their four children. The Israeli military confirmed conducting the strike, stating the objective was a Hamas operative, and confirmed an investigation into the outcome is underway. According to Gaza health authorities, this event is part of an ongoing series of strikes that have killed over 1,150 Palestinians since the October ceasefire, while the Israeli military reports four of its soldiers have been killed by militants during the same timeframe. In a separate development in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian officials reported that approximately twenty Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque in Al-Tuwani village. The attackers allegedly damaged two homes and a dairy facility while leaving Hebrew graffiti on the mosque walls before fleeing. Israeli police stated that they have launched an investigation into the incident, though local residents claim the attack occurred while military personnel were present nearby.
