Attempted murder and suicide investigation in Limassol

A 46-year-old woman is recovering in the Nicosia General Hospital intensive care unit after being shot four times on June 30 in Zakaki, Limassol. The perpetrator, her 55-year-old husband, committed suicide immediately following the attack. Police investigations indicate that the man, who was a police officer, left his post at the Agios Rafail Marina base that morning and followed his wife from their home to the location of the incident.
