The Cyprus Customs Department issued an official apology after its Facebook page shared content from the political student organization DRASIS-KES. The department stated that the incident likely occurred due to an accidental click by a page administrator during the posting of a separate report regarding a recent tobacco seizure at Larnaca Airport. The unauthorized post remained visible on the official page for approximately one hour. Once the error was noticed, administrators took immediate action to delete the content. Management expressed regret for the incident on behalf of all staff and offered apologies for the confusion caused. No further administrative sanctions or deliberate political bias have been reported by the department.
