Sami Pajari wins Rally Estonia in WRC debut victory
Finnish driver Sami Pajari, co-driven by Marko Salminen, secured his first career victory in the top tier of the World Rally Championship at Rally Estonia. Driving a Toyota GR Yaris Rally1, Pajari demonstrated consistency by setting the fastest times in all seven stages on Friday. Despite a challenge from Oliver Solberg on Saturday morning, Pajari regained his lead and finished the event with a 19.5-second advantage. The 24-year-old further maximized his performance by securing the fastest times in both the Super Sunday classification and the Power Stage. This victory follows his previous success as a WRC2 champion and marks a significant milestone in his rally career. Weather conditions, including rain on Sunday, did not impede his pace toward the finish line. The event underscored the strong performance of the Toyota Gazoo Racing team throughout the season.
