Tapelo Morena Maseko linked with potential return to AEL Limassol

Mamelodi Sundowns has granted 22-year-old winger Tapelo Maseko permission to seek a new club after omitting him from their pre-season training camp in Austria. Maseko had previously played for AEL Limassol on loan during the second half of last season, during which he recorded 15 appearances, two goals, and one assist. Following his loan spell, he returned to the South African club as no permanent transfer agreement was reached at that time. According to reports from SABC Sport, Mamelodi Sundowns is currently open to either a permanent transfer or a new loan deal for the player. AEL Limassol maintains interest in re-signing the winger following his positive performance in Cyprus and his participation in the World Cup with the South African national team. The club from Limassol remains a primary candidate to secure his services as the transfer window progresses.
