Woman robbed and injured in Larnaca

On the morning of the reported incident around 6 a.m. in Larnaca, a 38-year-old woman was robbed while walking on a public street. Two individuals on a moped approached the victim, and the passenger forcibly snatched her bag, which contained 30 euros along with personal documents and items. The woman fell to the ground during the struggle and sustained injuries. She was transported to the Larnaca General Hospital, where medical staff treated her for minor abrasions and friction burns on her hand and leg. Following the administration of first aid, the woman was discharged from the facility. The perpetrators fled the scene immediately after the robbery. The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) has launched an investigation into the incident. While one source initially referred to the victim as 37 years old, the official police report and other media sources confirmed her age as 38.
