Weather forecast for the upcoming week

The Department of Meteorology reports that weather conditions will remain largely clear throughout the week. On Monday, inland temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius, with 32 degrees on the southwest and west coasts, 34 degrees on the north coast, and 36 degrees on remaining coastal areas, while mountainous regions will see peaks of 30 degrees. By Wednesday, inland temperatures are forecast to rise further to 43 degrees Celsius, with 33 degrees on the west coast, 36 degrees on other coasts, and 32 degrees in higher mountains. Winds throughout this period will generally blow from the south-west to the north-west at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with local strengthening to 5 Beaufort in the afternoons. Coastal waters are expected to remain calm to slightly rough. Nighttime temperatures will drop to approximately 24 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and to 21 degrees in mountainous areas. From Thursday, temperatures are expected to remain stable before gradually declining on Friday and Saturday, which will feature periods of increased cloud cover.
