Students achieve top scores in Cypriot national exams

Marilia Konstantinou and Marina Chatzimichael have both achieved a perfect score of 20 in the Cypriot national entrance examinations. Marilia Konstantinou, who intends to study Accounting and Finance, attributed her success to a balanced lifestyle, methodical study habits, and the support of afternoon tutoring centers. She noted that managing stress through leisure time was essential for her performance. Conversely, Marina Chatzimichael, who plans to study Law at the University of Cyprus, emphasized the importance of long-term discipline and persistent effort throughout her years in high school. Both students acknowledged that the current level of competition and academic requirements necessitated the use of private afternoon tutoring. While Marilia described her schedule as highly pressured, Marina noted that her daily workload was manageable provided that consistent discipline was applied. The results serve as a testament to the students' commitment to their respective academic fields. Both successful candidates expressed surprise at achieving the maximum grade.
