Two arrested after man injured in Nicosia

Police in Nicosia arrested a 38-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman in connection with an assault that occurred in the early hours of the morning. The victim was transported to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains hospitalized in stable condition. The 38-year-old faces charges related to causing grievous bodily harm, while the 34-year-old is accused of complicity. Both suspects were scheduled to appear before the Nicosia District Court to face a remand request.
