French modeling scout linked to Jeffrey Epstein found dead

Jean-Luc Brunel's associate and French modeling scout, 69-year-old Jean-Luc Sebagh (known as Daniel Sebagh), was found dead at his home near Paris. The Nanterre public prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of his death, with an autopsy pending. Sebagh was the subject of an ongoing investigation by French authorities regarding allegations of human trafficking, rape, and sexual assault. His name appeared in over 1,000 documents released in the U.S. related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, where he was identified as a scout and recruiter for Epstein's network. While Sebagh had not yet been formally interrogated, he had publicly denied all allegations, claiming Epstein had exploited his trust. In a 2014 email to Epstein, Sebagh described his process of finding models by comparing it to fishing. His death follows that of Jean-Luc Brunel, who died in prison in 2022 while awaiting trial on similar charges, and Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019.
