The Supreme Court of Cyprus rejected a request to cancel a search warrant for a Limassol music and dance venue, confirming that the Anti-Drug Squad (YKAN) had sufficient evidence and reasonable suspicion. The warrant was issued based on informant reports alleging that staff members were storing and supplying cocaine within the office of the establishment. The venue's manager had challenged the warrant, claiming a lack of factual basis and violation of rights, but the court ultimately ruled the search was lawful and justified.

In a separate development, the Limassol Criminal Court ordered the forfeiture of assets worth €164,585 linked to a drug trafficking case involving four individuals. This follows an operation in November 2024 where police seized over 5 kilograms of cocaine and 12 kilograms of cannabis. The forfeited assets include property belonging to a 35-year-old man valued at €144,585 and assets of a 34-year-old woman worth €20,000. The investigation, conducted by YKAN in cooperation with MOKAS, involved financial probes that led to the freezing and subsequent confiscation of cash and vehicles.
