Cypriot police have conducted a series of coordinated operations across the Larnaca, Limassol, and Paphos districts, leading to the arrest of multiple individuals on charges of drug trafficking and possession. In a significant operation on July 21, 2026, authorities arrested a 50-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, and a 29-year-old man in connection with the supply of approximately 145-150 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The suspects were observed during a hand-over in a Paphos village before being intercepted by the Anti-Drugs Squad (YKAN).

Separately, police seized over two kilograms of cocaine in two distinct incidents. In Larnaca, two 34-year-old men were arrested after a high-speed pursuit that ended when their vehicle crashed into a ditch; police recovered 1,570 grams of cocaine. Simultaneously, in Limassol, two 30-year-olds were arrested with 510 grams of cocaine. Furthermore, a 47-year-old man was detained in Limassol after being found with 61 grams of crystal meth and driving with an expired permit.

All suspects involved in these cases have been remanded in custody to facilitate ongoing investigations. The police continue to seek further associates and suppliers involved in these trafficking networks.
