Vasilikon winery receives double distinction at the 16th Cyprus Wine Competition

The Vasilikon winery, located in Kathikas, was awarded two distinctions during the 16th Cyprus Wine Competition. The winery's Vasilikon Xynisteri 2025 vintage received a gold medal in the "Dry, Semi-dry & Semi-sweet Wines" category. Additionally, the producer earned a special distinction for its efforts in highlighting and promoting the indigenous Cypriot Xynisteri grape variety.

Organizers noted that this year's international evaluation committee was the most rigorous in recent years, underscoring the prestige of the awards. The achievement highlights the winery's commitment to quality and traditional Cypriot winemaking techniques. Through its partnership with LaikoCosmos, the winery continues to bolster the local wine industry's presence in both domestic and international markets, focusing on the development and promotion of high-quality Cypriot products.
