The Supreme Court of Cyprus has dismissed an appeal filed by the Attorney General regarding the cancellation of a search warrant for two bank safe deposit boxes belonging to businesswoman Natalie Tziapoura. The court ruled that the police's sworn statement lacked specific evidence, relying instead on vague and unsubstantiated conclusions. This decision reinforces strict legal requirements for issuing warrants, noting that prior arrests do not grant automatic rights to further searches. The Attorney General was ordered to pay €3,000 in legal costs.
