Fifty-two years after the events of July 20, 1974, Anna Tselepou has shared her traumatic childhood memories regarding the aftermath of the battle of Mouttalos in Paphos. At the age of twelve, Tselepou was forced to search for her brother, soldier Giannos Tselepos, among the list of casualties at the Paphos hospital after fighting broke out in the region.

The atmosphere at the hospital was described as one of intense desperation and sorrow as families gathered to identify their loved ones. Among the confirmed victims identified during the period were Dimitrakis Adamou from Mesogi and Filippos Papaloukas.
