They specifically requested clarification on whether the Akamas Municipality had submitted a request for an environmental assessment and if any official environmental approvals were granted. The groups argue that the site's proximity to the Akamas Peninsula, part of the Natura 2000 network, makes it a sensitive area. They warned that loud music, intense lighting, and large crowds pose a direct risk of disturbing protected species and their natural habitats.

While the festival has concluded, the organizations maintain that critical questions regarding the regulatory procedures remain unanswered. They are continuing to press the government for public information to ensure future events comply with environmental protection standards near protected zones.
