The Cyprus Football Association (CFA) held the official draw for the 2026-2027 Cyprus League by Stoiximan season on Friday, July 24, at the Olympic House in Nicosia. The championship will feature 14 teams, including AEK Larnaca, AEL Limassol, ALS Omonia 29M, Anorthosis Famagusta, APOEL Nicosia, Apollon Limassol, Aris Limassol, Karmiotissa Polemidion, Krasava Eny, Nea Salamis, Olympiakos Nicosia, Omonia Aradippou, Omonia Nicosia, and Pafos FC. The season is set to kick off on the weekend of August 29-30, 2026, and will conclude on May 22-23, 2027.

The tournament will follow a two-phase structure. During the first phase, teams will play two rounds of 26 matches. Subsequently, they will be split into two groups based on their ranking: the top six in Group A and the remaining eight in Group B. Group A will play a double round-robin, while Group B will play a single round-robin of seven matches. CFA President Charis Loizidis announced that all stadiums will be licensed in time for the start of the season, with the exception of Tsirion Stadium, which requires further upgrades. Efforts are also underway to improve CCTV surveillance systems across most venues to meet safety regulations.
