Over the past two months, the Municipality of Paphos has launched an intensive beautification campaign and infrastructure upgrade targeting the city's key tourist areas. Acting Mayor Angelos Onisiforou stated that the effort focuses on locations such as the harbor, the pier, and Agiou Antoniou Street, with the goal of establishing these areas as a modern, clean, and welcoming showcase for international visitors. Simultaneously, the city has begun a comprehensive program to replace obsolete and unsuitable bus stops throughout its municipal territory. The replacement process commenced in the tourist district to accommodate the thousands of daily visitors and is now expanding into the central urban core, with plans for a broader rollout into local neighborhoods.
