Two major initiatives have been launched in Cyprus to ensure students from vulnerable families are adequately prepared for the upcoming academic year. The Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) is running its "All children with school supplies" campaign through September 2, 2026, accepting a wide range of donations including stationery, backpacks, clothing, footwear, computers, and furniture. The council also welcomes volunteer labor and monetary contributions via gift vouchers.

Simultaneously, the Cyprus Red Cross has initiated the "Back to School – With many children's smiles" campaign, which runs from July 20 to September 4, 2026. This initiative focuses on collecting school supplies at various local Red Cross offices to support families facing financial hardship. Both organizations aim to provide essential tools to ensure that all children begin their school year under conditions of equality and dignity. The collected items are intended to provide comprehensive support to students in need, with organizers encouraging public participation through material donations, financial aid, or voluntary service. These campaigns are currently ongoing and will conclude in early September.
