Andreas Makris to join AEL Larissa
Cypriot forward Andreas Makris is set to join the Greek football club AEL Larissa. The 30-year-old athlete, who previously captained AEL Limassol, has already arrived in Larissa to finalize the transfer, with only formal procedures remaining to complete the deal.
Makris is an experienced player, having earned 28 caps for the Cyprus national team. Over the past four years, he recorded 29 goals and 10 assists in 150 appearances across all competitions. His professional career in Cyprus includes spells at Anorthosis, AEK Larnaca, APOEL, and Olympiakos Nicosia. This transfer marks his second stint abroad, following his time at the English club Walsall during the 2016/17 season, concluding nine consecutive years in the Cypriot league.
