APOEL signs young international goalkeeper Charis Vasiliou

APOEL Nicosia has officially strengthened its youth squads by signing international goalkeeper Charis Vasiliou from AEK Larnaca. The transfer, confirmed on July 24, 2026, involves a player who has established himself as a key member of Cyprus' U15 and U16 national teams.

Vasiliou arrives at APOEL following a standout performance during the previous season with AEK Larnaca’s U17 squad, which remained undefeated during the second half of the championship. The young goalkeeper was recognized by Science of Sport for having the highest percentage of successful close-range saves in the league.
