A major police operation is currently underway in the Agios Panteleimonas area of Antirrio, Greece, following an incident that occurred early Sunday morning, July 26, 2026. A driver of a private vehicle refused to comply with an order to stop for a police inspection near the Rio-Antirrio Bridge. During an attempt to evade authorities, the driver rammed a Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) patrol car.
