Aris Thessaloniki completes permanent transfer of Gustavo Paz
Aris Thessaloniki has officially finalized the permanent acquisition of 21-year-old Brazilian winger Gustavo Paz following a successful six-month loan spell from Vila Nova. The club activated the buyout clause, reportedly paying 260,000 euros to secure the player on a contract valid until the summer of 2030. Aris management views Paz as a high-potential project that aligns with their strategy of investing in young talent for both future competitive success and potential resale value.
During his loan period, the winger recorded 17 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Paz has already demonstrated strong form during the current pre-season training, notably scoring two goals in a recent 5-1 friendly match victory against Hapoel Raanana. Aris coach Artsiom Radzkow is expected to grant the player an increased role in the tactical setup for the upcoming competitive season as the team continues to finalize its roster.
