Olympiacos rejects Dubai BC transfer offers for Thomas Walkup
Dubai BC has repeatedly attempted to acquire Thomas Walkup from Olympiacos during the current off-season. Despite submitting multiple improved offers to the Greek club, including a recent bid of 870,000 euros to secure the international guard's contract, the management of the Piraeus-based team has consistently rejected the proposals.
Olympiacos officials have maintained that Walkup is a core member of their roster for the upcoming season and is not available for sale. The club has not placed the player on the transfer market, and there is even internal discussion regarding a potential salary adjustment to retain his services. Tyler Dorsey, who also holds a contract with the team worth 1.8 million euros, is similarly considered an essential part of the squad.
With the club scheduled to begin official pre-season preparations on August 20, the status of both players remains unchanged. Olympiacos currently has no intention of negotiating a deal, as they view Walkup as a cornerstone of their competitive strategy for the next year.
