Greek international midfielder Manolis Siopis is departing Panathinaikos to resume his career in the Turkish league. Despite strong interest from Cypriot club APOEL and Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, negotiations have shifted toward a move to Turkey, a country where the 32-year-old previously played for Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor.

Panathinaikos is currently in the final stages of finalizing the transfer and exchanging documentation to release the player.
