The alert is scheduled to be in effect from 14:00 to 16:30 local time, as maximum temperatures in the inland regions are expected to reach approximately 40 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are forecast to rise on Tuesday, remaining above the climatic averages for the season. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions as thermometers climb across the island, with coastal temperatures expected to range between 33 and 36 degrees and mountain regions reaching approximately 30 degrees.
