High temperatures forecast in Cyprus through Thursday
A seasonal low-pressure system is currently affecting Cyprus, bringing sunny weather and high temperatures across the island. On July 27, 2026, temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius in inland areas, 32 degrees on the western coast, 35 degrees on other coastal regions, and 28 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Winds will initially blow from northwesterly to northeasterly directions at speeds of 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually shifting to southwesterly or northwesterly directions. Along the southern coast, winds may occasionally reach 5 Beaufort, while the sea remains slightly rough. Evening temperatures are expected to drop to approximately 24 degrees in inland and coastal regions, and 19 degrees in the mountains.
The clear weather conditions are forecast to persist through Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Meteorologists anticipate a further rise in temperature on Tuesday, with levels expected to remain above the seasonal average for the rest of the period.
