Olympiacos nears deal for Stefan Ortega as Konstantinos Tzolakis departs for Hull City

Olympiacos is in advanced negotiations to sign 33-year-old German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, who is currently a free agent following his departure from Nottingham Forest. After initial hesitation, Ortega has resumed talks, and the parties are finalizing the terms of the deal. The move is intended to bolster the team's defensive options for the upcoming season.

Simultaneously, the club is set to lose 23-year-old goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis to Hull City. Tzolakis, a product of the Olympiacos academy who has made 131 appearances for the club, successfully completed his medical examinations in Athens on July 27, 2026. The transfer involves a four-year contract with the English club, with Tzolakis expected to join his new teammates at their training camp in Slovenia immediately following the formal completion of the deal.

Beyond goalkeeper adjustments, Olympiacos is also exploring midfield reinforcements, specifically targeting 21-year-old Famalicao captain Gustavo Sa, who is valued at approximately 25 million euros, and a player identified as Titiou, for whom the club is considering an investment exceeding 8 million euros.
