A 39-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Rodosthenis Christodoulou from Geri, lost his life in a traffic accident on Sunday night, July 26, 2026. The collision occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Agiou Georgiou Street in Latsia, as the victim was traveling toward Geri.

According to reports from local authorities, the motorcycle veered off its path for reasons currently under investigation. The vehicle struck the sidewalk and a traffic sign, causing the bike to skid for a significant distance along the road. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Nicosia General Hospital, where attending medical personnel declared him dead. The Nicosia Traffic Police Department has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
