A survey by the Center for Migration, Identity and Rights (CMIRS) reveals that 65.09% of Turkish Cypriots desire a solution to the Cyprus problem, with 75.94% favoring a federation model. Conducted with 500 participants, the study highlights widespread dissatisfaction with the status quo, as 59.96% find current conditions unacceptable. While citizens express deep concerns over economic instability and security, a significant majority remains open to coexisting with Greek Cypriots, despite underlying anxiety regarding negotiation processes and regional energy developments.
