Cristiano Ronaldo enters television production and acting
Cristiano Ronaldo has officially announced his entry into the entertainment industry as both a producer and an actor. The Al-Nassr and Portugal star has partnered with director Matthew Vaughn to form UR•Marv Studios, which is currently producing a new British football drama series titled 'Day 1s'. Filming for the project is already underway, with scenes recently spotted at Barnet’s stadium.
The series features actor Damian Lewis, known for his roles in 'Homeland' and 'Billions', who portrays Stanley Dalton, a high-profile football agent. The show's narrative is based on real-life football experiences. Beyond his acting debut, Ronaldo will serve as an executive producer for the series. Former professional footballer Thierry Henry is also reported to be involved in the production, marking a high-profile expansion of Ronaldo's professional portfolio beyond his ongoing career with Al-Nassr.
