Gjorgji Hristov appointed as General Manager for Coca-Cola in Greece and Cyprus
Coca-Cola has officially announced the appointment of Gjorgji Hristov as the new General Manager for the company's operations in Greece and Cyprus. Hristov succeeds Stavros Mourelatos, who moves into a new expanded role within The Coca-Cola Company in Europe.
Gjorgji Hristov brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new position. His career began in the premium spirits industry in North Macedonia before he joined Pivara Skopje, a Coca-Cola bottling partner. Since joining The Coca-Cola Company in 2011, he has held various leadership roles across Central and Eastern Europe, including positions in marketing and franchise operations in Serbia, as well as serving as Juice Marketing Director in Europe and Business Operations Director in Hungary. Before this current appointment, he served as the General Manager for the Adria region.
Hristov holds a degree in Business Administration from the American College Skopje. The leadership transition marks a strategic shift for the company's regional management as it continues to align its operations with broader European corporate goals.
