Cyprus summer events: Fengaros festival and Papoutsosiko festival
The 14th edition of the Fengaros Festival is set to take place from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at a new venue, Petrides Farm Park in Nicosia. Organizers report this will be the largest edition to date, featuring over 60 artists performing across six stages. The lineup includes international acts such as Eleni Drake and Hofe, as well as prominent local and regional artists like Eisvoleas, Billie Kark, Ypogeia Revmata, and Paidi Travma. The event focuses on themes of sustainability, inclusivity, and art, with presale tickets available until July 29 at fengaros.com, while door tickets will be sold on-site.
Separately, the village of Nata in the Paphos region will host the annual Papoutsosiko Festival on Friday, August 7, 2026. This traditional event celebrates the local cactus fruit, known as papoutsosiko, which is used to produce jams, candied fruits, and various desserts. The festival aims to preserve regional culinary heritage and has grown into a well-known gastronomic attraction for the area.
